Presumably "Log in 6 months in a row" means log in every day for 6 months, as opposed to logging in at least once a month for 6 months?

Ha, yes, good catch. Will fix the wording.

Just a thought; should server time be based on the majority of players' demographic? I have no idea where the majority of players are from, but it might make sense to adjust server time accordingly to reflect this statistic.

To Snow Wolf's point, players are more likely to miss a day if server time zone is way off from their personal time zone.

Currently, it's in UTC. I believe it used to be EST for several years, due to where the server was located.

I'm struggling to visualise whether this is really a problem in practice. It's still 24 hours, you just experience them a different times in your day. Hmm (smiley) Will think about it though.

Second thought; should this streak number be included on users' profiles?

And/or something like a top 5 "Players with Longest Streaks" stat on the home-page

That might be interesting. I don't want people to get stressed about it, that's why the rewards will peak after 4 weeks, so anything beyond that is just maintaining the buff. I do record the highest streak vals for each player though.

Is there a reason it notifies you for every day? Like this:

I suppose it sort of makes sense. But maybe the wording is off. It sounds like I am rewarded at this point, but it's just telling me that I've kept my streak up basically. If this is how you want it, no problem. But, to me I don't feel it needs to have a notification unless I've reached a login goal that awards me.

I was in two minds. It only does that because I'm using the existing objective system to apply the buffs.

I could silence it though, then again, it does make sure you know it all went through okay.

Up to popular opinion, I have no preference. Might get annoying by day 200 though. lol

It can be fairly annoying, but at the same time, it becomes kind of non-factor when activity picks up along with other notifications.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
